Lucy Campbell is a Manchester-based filmmaker, winner of a Royal Television Society Undergraduate Award for The Surface of Impenetrable Things 2011 and a finalist in Virgin Media Shorts 2011 with The Friend Catcher. She has shown films in festivals internationally. Originally studying English literature and creative writing, she subsequently trained as a medical doctor, alongside working as an artist and filmmaker.
She is represented by Ikenna Obiekwe at Independent Talent and currently mentored by Peter Ettedgui and Kate Leys for Network-Edinburgh International Film Festival in the writing of a feature - ANGEL a contemporary retelling of the Frankenstein story.
LORAN DUNN - PRODUCER
Loran is a creative and ideas driven young producer who has enjoyed screenings at prestigious festivals such as Edinburgh International Film Festival and Leeds International Film Festival as well as Royal Television Society Award nominations.
An Art School graduate, she has a creative ambition for unusual and provoking films, grounded in a background of production work on BBC and SKY dramas.
Loran manages Manchester/London based Award Winning Film Collective WULF showcasing some of the best emerging talent in the country, and is an Associate Lecturer in short Film Production for BA (hons) Filmmaking course Manchester Metropolitan University.
Loran is currently in development with her first feature "Mud" backed by The BFI, Creative England and BBC Film as part of the iFeatures3 slate.
SCOUT STUART - CO-WRITER
Scout Stuart grew up in the Suburbs of Manchester.
She has had films screened at festivals such as NFFTY, Exposures, Encounters and Raindance, where she won a critics choice award.
Graduating from the Manchester School of Art in 2011 with a degree in Contemporary Film and Video Scout went on to guest lecture in directing and screenwriting on the course the following year. A keen writer, Scout collaborates on varied creative writing projects including short stories and theatre, but is drawn to screenplays because film shows conduct and behaviour not thoughts.
She has a passion for creating narratively strong pieces of work, crafting characters that leave a lasting impression. Scout is currently developing a slate of short film projects and pursuing feature script, 'Mud', which had initial funding through ifeatures 2014. She is currently being mentored by Hong Khaou ('Lilting') with support from the BFI.
DAVEY GILDER - DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Davey Gilder is a passionate and technical cinematographer who works on films, music promos and commercials. Davey's recent music promo work includes videos for number one artist Charlie XCX for 'Boom Clap', and Gorgon City for 'Ready For Your Love'. His video for CHVRCHES, 'The Mother We Share' was nominated for Video of the Year at the 2014 LIBBY Awards.
Davey has also shot fashion films for designers including Louis Vuitton, and Tommy Hilfiger. His commercial work includes clients such as OXFAM and MasterCard.
Davey has picked up awards including, best commercial at the 2009 Kodak Commercial Awards, and nominations at festivals such as Cambridge International Film Festival and Encounters Film Festival, also winning fourth place in the Frame Pool Competition at Cannes Lions.
ELENA RICCABONA - PRODUCTION DESIGNER
Elena is a production and set designer from Austria now based in London.
The ability to tell a story through underlying visual themes is integral to Elena’s work and drives her passion for cinema. She's believes exemplary film design is intuitive and multi-layered, and creates the necessary textures and depth to bring the film’s vision alive.
Elena has worked internationally as a production designer and art director in the creative industry covering film, commercials, music promo as well as art, print, editorial and fashion film formats.
CHRIS FISHER - SOUND DESIGNER
Chris is s a freelance sound designer, an Associate Lecturer in Sound Design at Manchester School of Art.
He balances the dynamic range of his sound by experimenting with juxtaposing silence and volume to increase tension, as well as blurring the line between sound design and music.
Working primarily in Post-Production, Chris has worked on over 25 short films and documentaries, and has designed sound for multiple award winning short films. He is beginning to also work with image editing to further his understanding of the sound/image relationship.
CATHERINE STEADMAN - ROSA
Catherine Steadman is an English actress, best known for playing Mabel Lane Fox in Dowtnton Abbey, Nurse Angela Wilson in ITV's 60s drama Breathless and Joan Bulmer of The Tudors.
Catherine trained at the Oxford School of Drama. She made her screen debut playing Julia Bertram in Itv Drama's adaptation of Mansfield Park. She has since appeared in several television programmes including The Inbetweeners, Holby City, Law & Order, Missing, Lewis, Fresh Meat, The Tudors and played Nurse Angela Wilson opposite Jack Davenport in the ITV drama Breathless. In 2014 she plays Kate in comedy series Trying Again and guest stars in Quirke.
Catherine can be seen in the films Dust, Princess Kaiulani, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Outpost: Black Sun and Richard Curtis's About Time.
FREDERICK SCHMIDT - DOMINIC
Frederick Schmidt is a raw new talent whose first leading role in feature film "Snow in Paradise" made the official selection at Cannes.
Frederick has also appeared in crime drama "Starred Up", and will star alongside Idris Elba in Debbie Tucker Green's debut feature "Second Coming", which is currently in post production.
